Connect your Slack workspace to Pageloop to get proactive suggestions for article updates directly from your team's conversations. This lets Pageloop you monitors selected channels and make suggestions for articles to be created and updated.
How to Connect Your Slack Account
First, navigate to the Integrations page. You can access this by clicking your profile in the bottom-left corner, selecting Settings, and then clicking Integrations. For more details, see our guide on managing integrations.
On the Integrations page, find Slack in the list of applications and click the Connect button.
You will be redirected to Slack to authorize the connection. Review the permissions Pageloop requires and click Install Pageloop.
βNote - you can configure the channels Pageloop should watch in the steps below. Only selected channels will be tracked for updates.After successful authorization, you will return to Pageloop. The Slack integration is ready to be configured
Configuring Slack Integration
Click the Configure button on the Slack integration card.
A "Configure Slack Channels Access" dialog will appear. Define which channels Pageloop monitors and where it sends alerts.
Set up your preferences in the modal:
Select channels Pageloop should watch for updates: Choose one to three channels where your team discusses product changes.
Select the channel Pageloop should notify: Choose a single channel where Pageloop will post notifications about suggested article updates.
Select the users we should tag: Choose one or two team members to tag in the notifications.
Once you have made your selections, the modal will reflect your choices.
Click Save Configuration to finalize the setup.
Next Steps
Now that your Slack integration is configured, the first set of Suggestions will take about 24-48 hours. After that, Pageloop will monitor your selected channels at midnight every night. Read more about how to use the Suggestions page here! (coming soon!)
