The 'Record My Flow' feature helps you create new documentation by capturing your actions directly from your product. Using the Pageloop Chrome extension, you can record a workflow and automatically generate a how-to article with clear steps.
How to Use 'Record My Flow'
Open the Pageloop Chrome extension and click Create Article, then select Record My Flow.
βIn the Select Tab window, choose the browser tab where you want to record your actions.
3. Click through the feature as a user would. Pageloop automatically captures your clicks and on-screen actions. You can use ctrl+r to start and stop the recording, and ctrl+s to take a screenshot on a Mac or Windows.
Optional: Record voice narration
While recording a flow (for new or updated articles), you can capture your voice.
The microphone is off by default. Enable it when you record.
When you enable the mic on a new tab, your browser prompts for permission before recording. Approve the prompt in Chrome or other Chromium-based browsers (for example, Arc or Comet).
Use the floating options to toggle the mic. The mic is active only when switched on and turns off automatically when you stop the flow.
4. Once you stop the recording, you can review all captured actions and screenshots inside the extension. You can delete any accidental actions or duplicate screenshots from this view.
