Pageloop connects directly to your Jira workspace to monitor completed issues for documentation updates. You can also trigger proactive suggestions by mentioning @Pageloop on specific issues or epics, even if they are not marked as completed.
Connect Your Jira Workspace
Follow these steps to connect Jira to Pageloop:
Navigate to the Integrations settings page in Pageloop and click the Connect button next to the Jira integration.
You are redirected to the Atlassian authorization page. Note: This page might not show up if your Atlassian account restricts app authentication to administrators. If you do not see this page, reach out to your workspace admin. Review the permissions and click Accept.
After accepting, you are redirected back to Pageloop, and the Configure Jira Projects dialog appears.
Install the Pageloop Jira App
To enable @Pageloop mentions in Jira, you must install the Pageloop Jira App. This allows you to interact with issues outside of your selected projects or track tasks before they are completed.
Click the Install Pageloop Jira App link inside the configuration dialog. This opens the Atlassian Developer console in a new tab.
Click the Get app button.
Choose your specific Atlassian site from the dropdown menu and click Install.
Select Projects and Save
Once the app installation processes, return to your Pageloop configuration.
Switch back to the Pageloop tab to continue your setup.
In the Configure Jira Projects dialog, click the dropdown menu to view available projects and select the ones you want to sync.
Click the Save Configuration button to complete the Jira integration setup.
